OOTD

Hey everyone~ I thought I'd show you my outfit of today.
I really wanted to be comfy today, so I threw on a pair of jeggings and combat boots. The edgy-ness of the combat boots contrasts well with the girlyness of this sequined top with chiffon in the back. This top also has two layers, which adds some very nice dimension. To finish it off, I decided to pair the top with a long necklace that balances well with the nude color!

Spring Beauty Routine

Spring Beauty Routine
Hey everyone!
I'm back with a spring beauty routine!
Let's get started~

1. Cleansing
Right now I'm using the Apricot Acne scrub by St. Ives. I love it! It smells delish and is great for exfoliating! Also, around three times a week I take out my Clarisonic. I really recommend you guys to try it out! It's great for deep cleansing, and it keeps my acne down.

2. Moisturizing
This is perhaps the most important of them all!
After washing my face/taking a shower, I will take out a cotton pad, pour some of my Shiseido softener/toner on it, and wipe down my face.
Next, I will moisturize with my Neutrogena Hydro Boost. I love this! It is so moisturizing, as well as refreshing and light on my skin.
As for sunscreen, I use my favorite by Sheiseido. I currently am using the 38 SPF version.
For lips, I use some of my Nivea lip butter.

3. Makeup
I'll be honest-I don't wear a full face of makeup most days, so I will split up my makeup here into two groups: the basic and basic +

Basic everyday:
After moisturizing, I will basically swipe on some copper/brown eyeliner, highlight the inner corners of my eyes with a slightly shimmery white eyeshadow (mine is currently from a Lancome palette, but any kind that you prefer would work!), and apply some mascara.
Aand that's it. Natural, simple, and perfect for school.

Basic +:
On those days where I do want to wear a little more makeup here is what I do as well as what I did above.
Face Products: I rarely use foundation, so I usually opt for a BB cream. I'm currently using a Korean brand, but I do recommend the Maybelline BB cream! Then, I set it with the Revlon Colorstay powder and a kabuki brush!
Blush: Maybelline Bouncy Blush in Peach Satin for that sun kissed glow
Eyeliner: Sometimes I will switch out the copper pencil liner for a black liquid liner. I'm currently using the Line Stiletto by Maybelline, although it's not really the best, so I am looking for a new eyeliner! Recommendations?
Then finally, I'll choose a lip product that fits my mood of the day, but right now, I am loving the Peach Kiss flavor of Baby Lips!!

4. Finishing Touches
My favorite fragrance for spring is Princess by Vera Wang.
I use this practically everyday! It's a really girly and fun scent- which I absolutely love!
As for nail polish, I love Essie (my favorite brand)'s bright pink polishes as well as their lavender shades!

I hope you enjoyed my quick spring beauty routine! If you have any suggestions comment below, and make my day! Until next time~ XOXO

Casual Mondays

Casual Mondays

Happy Monday!
Soo, I thought i would share an outfit idea for you guys on those days where you really don't want to put in much effort for an outfit. Mondays are usually that day for me.
In the morning, I have two main goals:
1. Drown myself in coffee
2. Look presentable

After #1 has been accomplished, I start pursuing my second goal. Usually I gravitate towards my comfy clothing which are:
Jeans
T-shirts
Sneakers

Next, I have to spice up an otherwise boring outfit with accessories. Here, I am breaking an old fashion law (gasp); I'm wearing a long necklace with a scarf.
Tips on breaking this law without needing the fashion police:
1. Infinity scarves are nice as they leave room to see the necklace.
2. Wear dainty long necklaces, a overly decorative/chunky necklace can be too overwhelming.
3. Long necklaces that have a charm on the bottom are very nice as well.

Next, I chose to wear simple accessories that are easy to wear, i.e. watches, studs, etc.

Aannd done!  Here you have a comfortable, cute outfit that's great for school and work!

Any suggestions? Comment below! Until next time~ XOXO

March 2014 Favorites

March 2014 Favorites

March 2014 Favorites by lace daisies

Hey Everyone!
So March is practically over, so here is a few of my favorites!

1. My new Mac Air<3
I absolutely love it~ It is great for editing my Youtube videos (and school), and I've had my old Sony for around 5 years, so a replacement was really needed!

2. Studs. I have always been a fan of just wearing studs, as its always simple and stylish! I suggest going for some pearls or stones, but daisies are just as dandy ;)

3. Shiseido Sunscreen
One of my all time favorites, it's lightweight, non-greasy, and ah-amzing for skin protection!

4. Lancome Hypnose Drama Mascara
This one is also a long time favorite, I have recently started using it again, as I was using the Definicils for a while, but I have returned to this one, as it gives great volume and length!

5. Oxfords
I recently purchased a pair by Madden Girl, and they fit like a glove! I love the old-fashiony and preppy look they bring to any outfit! I love pairing them with rolled up jeans and collared tops!

Food Favorite of March (not pictured)

Okay, I couldn't leave out food, cause, let's be honest-it's the most important.
This month I have been loving Veggie Straws-they're so yummy and sorta nutritious?

That's all for now! XOXO

🍂🍁Fall Food Haul+Extras

I have a confession to make.
I'm OBSESSED with Trader Joes.
So I stopped by today, and I had to share all my delicious food hauling as well as much FALL food!!!
So... To start it off..
They were giving out samples of this PUMPKIN ice cream and this PUMPKIN bread pudding. It was delicious!!!!

Next.. I walked into the frozen isle and I saw macaroons. My life is complete. You just take these out of the freezer, defrost, and BAM. You have deliciously delicious French macaroons.

I also picked up some soup, because all you have to do is heat these up and viola! Delish and easy soup! I love drinking soup in the fall to warm up!

Lastly for food, I bought these two items because I'm going to be doing some fall baking soon and I would be needing these items!
And this last item isn't food, but is probably what I'm most excited for.
So I don't know if you have tried their coconut body butter, but it's completely made out so many healthy and natural butters and not to mention, deliciously scented. For the fall, they came out with this pumpkin body butter, and I had to buy it!! Now I can smell like fall🍂! I really liked the coconut butter because it was super moisturizing and non greasy so I hope I love this one as well!
Well that's all I have today! If you are near a trader joes, stop by, and see what they have to offer!
Until next time~ XOXO
